Movement is a Move-based layer-1 blockchain built to settle stablecoin payments, remittances, and yield products. Its stated goal is to provide the rails for moving stablecoins and digital assets into and across emerging markets. The network uses MOVE as its native token to process transaction fees and pay validators for securing the network.
