Core is a layer-1 blockchain that aims to unlock bitcoin's liquidity by letting users stake bitcoin, and provides Bitcoin DeFi infrastructure that can be used for lending, borrowing and other applications. The network uses CORE as its native token in order to process transactions and secure the network.
